As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. Here is what we are looking for:
Experience Matters! You should have hands-on expertise in Itero scanning, taking impressions, adjustments, bondings, and debonds.

Flexibility is Key! We are looking for someone who can demonstrate flexibility by covering additional shifts as needed.
We offer a unique rotating schedule between Monday & Wednesday from 7:00 am to 4:15 pm and Tuesday & Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:15 pm. Plus, this is an amazing opportunity that could lead to a full-time position if interested!

Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming, soothing and customer service focused experience for patients.
Prepare patients for treatment or checkups, ensuring their comfort.
Take diagnostic x-rays using standard dental radiographic equipment.
Assist the Orthodontist with a high level of partnership through four handed dentistry.
Arrive prepared for each day and review patient charts for morning huddle.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures when needed.
Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patientâs chart.
Manage lab cases and schedule patients as needed.
Assist with other office duties as requested or needed.
Skills:
Open to cross training to support our teamwork focused office approach.
Effective time management skills and able to support a steady flow in Dr's schedule.
Able to be flexible and multi-task to meet the needs of a busy schedule.
Must have outstanding communication and customer service skills.
Welcoming and patient personality with an ability to build rapport with others easily.
Great attention to detail and follow through.
Dental terminology knowledge and ability to educate patients regarding procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
