Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team one day a week on Friday's. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments using appropriate techniques and tools.
Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations for optimal dental health.
Take medical imaging as needed, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Monitor vital signs of patients before procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area in compliance with infection control protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Proficiency with Dentrix software for patient management and documentation.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.
Ability to provide compassionate care while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
