In this position, youâll be part of a team striving to provide the 5 Star Patient Experience by keeping your patients focused on optimal and necessary treatment needs such as non-surgical perio therapy, while attending to their individual concerns. You will educate and counsel patients on their dental health.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice policies.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping.
Implement infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Stay updated on aseptic techniques and best practices in dental hygiene.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance overall patient care and office efficiency.
Participate in continuing education opportunities to further develop skills in medical coding, anatomy knowledge, and other relevant areas.
Experience
Valid RDH license in the state of practice.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental office systems is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are necessary.
