Job Description
As a Dental Assistant at Pearl Family Dental, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care. You’ll work closely with our dentist and staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Take dental X-rays.
Provide chairside support, including suction, retraction, and material preparation.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records using dental software.
Adhere to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience is a plus
Experience in Chairside assisting is required.
X-ray certification required (or willingness to obtain within 1 week).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
CPR certification is a plus.
