Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and assisting the dental professionals in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for our patients.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information accurately.
Manage patient scheduling, including confirming appointments and follow-ups.
Maintain an organized and clean work area to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Perform administrative tasks such as managing patient records using Eaglesoft software.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and prosthodontics is essential.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, including roles such as dental receptionist or assisting.
Familiarity with medical coding is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
