Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry.- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.- Take and develop dental x-rays.- Perform patient assessments and record vital signs.- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems like Epic.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Previous experience in a dental office preferred.- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like Eaglsoft- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
