Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff.
Experience Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Assisting.
Experience with chairside assisting during general and/or specialty procedures
Proficiency in taking dental X-rays (digital)
Knowledge of open dental is highly recommended but not mandatory.
Experience with patient preparation and post-op instructions
Comfortable with both front and back office duties - Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle some administrative tasks during down time!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals).
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready and sterilized.
Provide patients with comfort before, during, and after procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and dental charts.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure rooms are stocked appropriately.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all safety regulations
