Dental Assistant - Glenn Dental - California City, CA

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take digital dental x-rays- Prepare and maintain dental supplies and materials inventory- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records using Epic software- Assist with medical coding and documentation for insurance billing purposes- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred- X-ray certification required- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices- Experience working with Epic or other electronic medical records systems is preferred
