Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team. Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Monitor vital signs as needed during procedures.
Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Utilize dental software systems such as Open Dental for scheduling and record management.
Support the front office with medical coding and billing tasks when necessary.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experiences:

Previous experience in a dental assisting role is preferred
Knowledge of dental terminology and dental documentation practices is essential.
Familiarity with infection control standards within a dental setting.
Proficiency in using dental software systems, specifically Open Dental, is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
