Responsibilities

Take and record vital signs as part of the initial assessment process.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventative care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the administration of treatments as directed by the dentist, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture high-quality radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and improve office efficiency.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
Previous experience is a plus but not required.
