Job Overview
This is a PT position which will start 1 day a week and increase in days as we grow.We are seeking a dedicated and personable Dental Hygienist who is willing to go an extra mile to become Myofunctonal therapy provider and join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients of all ages. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring a sterile environment through aseptic techniques
Experience with Guided Biofilm Therapy is preferred, not required. We will provide the training if required.
Screen kids and adults on Airway problems and provide assessments and Therapy when applicable.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation and scheduling.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care, particularly in pediatric settings.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license
Proficiency in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical records
Experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry techniques
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
Ability to assess patient needs and document care effectively

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $48.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
