Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Greenville, SC
Cherry Orchard Pediatric Dentistry is a small, privately owned pediatric dental office in Greenville, SC. We seek to build lasting relationships with our patients and their families and prioritize dental education. We are looking for a fun and energetic dental assistant to join our wonderful team! Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should possess the following traits:
· Vibrant and warm personality- always ready to receive/ greet patients in a welcoming manner as an ambassador of the practice
· Must be comfortable and confident in a fast-paced medical environment
· Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and keen attention to detail
· Must be able to adapt to a continuously changing schedule, while being able to remain organized and efficient
· Must be able to show compassionate care and professional diplomacy in all interactions with patients, parents, fellow staff members and referring dentist offices
· Must be willing to assist the doctor and fellow team members in all aspects related to patient care
· Must have basic computer skills- familiarity with medical software/ EMR charts would be considered favorable
· Experience working with children of various ages would be favorable
The following additional certifications would be considered favorable for this position:
· DANB or equivalent
· Nitrous Oxide Certification
· BLS CPR
· X-ray Certification
Part- time/ approximately 24-26 hours per week
