Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and Dental Assistant with at least 1 full year of chair side experience to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records- Schedule patient appointments- Take and develop dental x-rays
Experience- Anatomy knowledge- Aseptic technique- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software- Understanding of medical coding systems and medical records management
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
