Job SummaryWe are seeking a Saturday only (8:15am-1:00pm) dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the Dental Hygienist in seating patients, updating medical histories, taking x-rays, assisting the Doctor with exams, cleaning rooms, and running sterilization. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should also be able to assist the Doctor in procedures if needed.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Manage patient records and medical documentation accurately using Eaglesoft software.
Take and X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory, following infection control guidelines.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
Proficiency with taking dental x-rays
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Knowledge of prosthodontics and infection control practices is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are crucial for success in this role.
