Hygienist Position Available.
Our office is looking for a dental hygienist to augment our current dental hygiene team.
We work in a friendly and caring environment that puts patient care first. We are currently looking for a hygienist in our Port Huron office.
Our office is ideally looking to fill a position for 3 days. (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday ) We will consider an applicant that can suit alternate schedules as well.
Our office hours are:Monday: 10:30 - 7:00Tuesday: 8:00 - 5:00Wednesday: 8:00 - 5:00Thursday: 8:00 - 4:00
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week

Summary

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings and assessments to maintain patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Utilize OpenDental software for patient records and scheduling.
Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient interactions.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Michigan.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
