OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing preventive dental services and educating patients on oral health.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Review and document patient medical records accurately.
Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Assist in the management of dental office operations, including maintaining equipment and supplies.
Collaborate with dentists in general dentistry procedures and pediatric care.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for documentation and patient management.
Ensure compliance with all health regulations and standards within the dental clinic.

Skills

Proficient in aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
Experience working in a dental office environment, particularly in general dentistry settings.
Strong focus on patient care with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform documentation review efficiently and accurately.
Familiarity with Dentrix or Eaglesoft software is preferred.
Knowledge of pediatric dental care practices is a plus.
Competence in managing medical records effectively within a clinical setting.
