Dental Hygienist (Part-time) - Exceptional Dental - Beverly, MA

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits.
We are looking for a hygienist to come work a couple days a week. We are flexible with what days and hours.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth while adhering to aseptic techniques.
Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in the medical records using Dentrix software.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary tools and support as needed.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist and license for Local Anesthesia.
Proficiency in medical documentation and coding related to dental procedures.
Experience with general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with dental office operations and patient management systems, particularly Dentrix.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
Commitment to providing compassionate care and promoting patient education on oral health.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
