Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient care. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, patient records, and billing processes.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Stay updated on medical terminology and coding relevant to dental practices.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental office management software is preferred.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
