The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures, be able to work well with a team, and have excellent communication skills. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, performing routine dental exams and treatments, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene. The successful candidate will also be expected to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in dentistry and maintain a warm and professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities:

Provide general dental care to patients.
Diagnose and treat oral diseases.
Perform routine dental examinations and develop treatment plans for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including CAMBRA.
Perform a wide range of general dental procedures including restorative, preventative, extractions, cosmetic dentistry and other procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in dentistry.
Provide positive staff leadership.

Skills:

Proven experience as a general dentist with a strong understanding of dental procedures.
In-depth knowledge of professional health and safety regulations.
Provide evidence based dentistry and implement professional standard of care for our patients (ie. CAMBRA protocol).
Outstanding communication skills.
A patient and friendly personality.
Attention to detail.
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job.

Requirements:

Valid Washington State Dental License and ADA member
Valid DEA License
Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships in a team-focused environment.
The ability to educate and communicate treatment needs to patients in a compassionate manner.
Staying current on continuing education requirements.
