**Overview:**
Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and contribute to providing exceptional dental care to our patients, utilizing some of the best technology in dentistry. We are seeking a skilled individual who is passionate about dentistry, patient well-being and learning.
**Duties:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment, including general dentistry, oral surgery and endodontic procedures
- Set up and prepare treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
-Monitor and manage the schedule and patient flow within the dental clinic
-Communicate to dental labs on behalf of the dentist and coordinate cases coming in and out of the office
**Skills:**
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records management
- Experience in dental receptionist duties
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques
- Competence in dental assisting procedures
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Ability to assist with X-Rays
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with assisting in dental procedures. Knowledge of Cerec and iTero scanners are a plus but not required.
