Dental Assistant - Canton Dental Group - Canton, MA

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical coding and documentation- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment system
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- X-ray certification- Knowledge of medical coding, medical documentation, and medical records management- Experience working with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software is a plus- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred- Proficiency in using dental software, such as Epic, is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
