Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare patients for treatments by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
Maintain an aseptic environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
Take and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation.
Manage patient records using dental software, including Eaglesoft, to maintain up-to-date information.
Perform basic dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Assist with the management of inventory, ensuring that all necessary supplies are stocked and organized.
Support in various dental specialties as required.

Experience

Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is essential for effective communication within the team and with patients.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
Familiarity with medical coding is a plus, enhancing your ability to assist with administrative tasks.
Proficiency in aseptic techniques to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Experience with assisting in various dental procedures will be beneficial.
