Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Document patient information accurately in medical records.
Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Manage patient appointments and follow-up communications.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygiene License in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and medical terminology.
Experience with four-handed dentistry preferred.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient education.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
