Dental Assistant - Mangino Dental - Paducah, KY

JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Duties:

Provides superior chair-side clinical support and assisting to Doctor which includes but is not limited to; charting, patient education, Operatory set-up and clean-up.
Scrub, sterilize instruments, and setup trays.
Manages the patient flow; redirects efforts to respond to changes, prioritizes next operatory room for the Doctor, and updates the Doctor on patient status.
Welcomes and greets patients in the reception area and provides a personal introduction including name and position and escorts patients to check-out when appointment concludes.
Takes x-rays and diagnostic films.
Can take crown and bridge impressions and make temporary fabrications.
Enters and updates patient treatment plans at the direction of the Doctor using the company operational system (we use EagleSoft).
Verifies that patient clinical service needs are exceeded and takes appropriate action when visits do not meet expectations.
Monitors all laboratory cases and ensures they are ready for the next day’s schedule.
Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including compliance with HIPPA guidelines, CPR, Xrays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Maintains and updates annual CE requirements as specified by the state.
Orders supplies and parts for upcoming cases.
Maintains drug log inventory.
Miscellaneous other duties as directed by supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
