Registered Dental Hygienist - Dental Care at Moon Valley - Phoenix, AZ

Job SummaryWe are a private dental practice in N. Central Phoenix looking for a enthusiastic and motivated dental hygienist. We have an updated, state-of-the-art dental office with dedicated patient base and a energetic and fun working environment. We offer excellent benefits including 401k match, health insurance, paid holidays, personal time and a flexible schedule. We are open Monday thru Thursday. No Fridays or weekends! We are looking for a hygienist two days per week. Compensation is very competitive at $55+/hr with production bonus. Current RDH's are making $65+/hr with production bonus.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments performed and any changes in patient conditions.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Review patient diagnostic x-rays and photos to help identify treatment for the dentist.
Stay updated on current dental terminology, medical terminology, and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Experience

Three years of experience as a dental hygienist preferred.
Familiarity with dental office systems and procedures is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to demonstrate compassion and professionalism in patient care settings.
