Overview
We are seeking a general dentist who has a passion for working with children in our pediatric office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing the treating dental issues in young patients, promoting oral health education, and creating a positive dental experience for families.
Duties

Perform comprehensive oral examinations and assessments of patients for infants, children and adolescents.
Provide preventive treatment such as fluoride applications and sealants.
Educate children and parents about proper oral hygiene practices and nutrition.
Develop treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical history.
Manage behavior and anxiety in young patients to foster a comfortable dental environment.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using dental software such as Open Dental.
Fabricate dental appliances as needed for patient care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and incorporate them into practice.

Requirements .

Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with dental office management software, preferably Open Dental
Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children and their families.

Pay: $219,732.00 - $237,454.00 per year
