Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral health care to patients. This is a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about dental care and patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental x-rays (medical imaging)
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Perform dental receptionist duties when needed
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Attend meetings and learn new skills when needed
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology
- Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred
- Knowledge of assisting in various dental procedures
- Familiarity with implant dentistry and orthodontics
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Spanish speaking and writing - Strong ability to explain treatment procedures to patients.
- Proficient using Eaglesoft
- Experience with ordering and tracking dental supplies, working with vendors
- Experience with tracking laboratory cases

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
