Essential Functions:

Examines and diagnoses patients with dental problems.
Develops and implements treatment plans for patients.
Performs dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.
Prescribes medications and provides post-operative care instructions.
Documents patient care and maintains accurate records.
Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Education Requirement:

Graduate of an accredited dental school, or international equivalent, required.
All trainees functioning in NCH facilities must be in a program that has been approved by the NCH GMEC (Graduate Medical Education Committee) or in an approved residency program of an institution with which NCH has an educational affiliation agreement.

Licensure Requirement:

Dental License or Limited Resident License from the State of Ohio Dental Board, required.
