Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of aseptic technique in all treatments. The Dentist will work closely with a team of dental professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventative care measures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery.
Uphold strict aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment in the dental office.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry to provide the best possible treatment options for patients.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience in general dentistry; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to maintain detailed medical records and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols within a dental office setting.
