We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant at Catonfield Dental, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dental practice. You will work closely with our experienced dental professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support the delivery of high-quality dental services.
Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms for patients by ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control guidelines.
Take dental X-rays and assist in diagnostic procedures.
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Send and receive lab cases and log them daily
Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
Welcome patients and ensure their comfort and well-being throughout their visit.
Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe dental environment.
Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix) is a plus.
