As a Dental Assistant, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our patients.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Maintain accurate dental records using systems such as Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake, and follow-up communications.
Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary to ensure their well-being during treatments.
Support the dental team in various administrative tasks to enhance clinic efficiency.

Skills

Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
Familiarity with dental assisting techniques and procedures.
Experience with electronic health record systems such as Eaglesoft is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing dental records.
Ability to take X-rays safely and effectively while adhering to protocols.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
Capability to monitor vital signs accurately when required.
