OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Assistant with 2 years plus to join our team. This will be a new dental practice in a ever growing area of Mount Dora. This office will be opening at the end of April with a full time role needed immediately.
Responsibilities

Be able perform functions of being a dental assistant such as four handed dentistry, setting up and putting away rooms, checking supply inventory and ordering supplies.
The ability to cross train is a major plus.
We will be using the latest and greatest technology such as cloud based practice management software, digital X-ray's including CBCT, and Intraoral scanners. Experience is not required as proper training will be implemented.
Assist in the preparation of care plans and communicate effectively with dental staff regarding patient needs.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant for a minimum of 2 years with roles including four handed dentistry, organizing labs, help with inventory and supplies, and being able to take X-rays.
Familiar with navigating through dental management softwares,
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and office management practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing outstanding customer care
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment.
A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
