Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Take and document vital signs, medical history, and dental terminology.
Utilize Eddson software for patient documentation and record management.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with a focus on comfort and education for younger patients.
Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Perform medical imaging as required, including X-rays.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with health regulations.
Stay updated on anatomy knowledge relevant to dental hygiene practices.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and infection control standards.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation review.
