OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to a positive patient experience in a professional environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays and utilizing 3D scanners as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient medical records in accordance with clinic protocols.
Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff regarding treatment plans and procedures.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, adhering to aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Collaborate with the dental team to streamline operations and enhance patient satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with medical records systems such as Epic is advantageous.
Knowledge of dental terminology is essential for effective communication within the clinic.
Experience with medical imaging equipment and techniques is a plus.
A strong understanding of aseptic technique is required to ensure patient safety.
