Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all patients. You will work closely with the dental team to promote oral health and educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, utilizing appropriate aseptic techniques.
Assess patient oral health and document findings in medical records accurately.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the administration of local anesthesia and other dental procedures as needed.
Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, patient records, and treatment planning.
Conduct medical imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized care plans for pediatric patients and adults alike.

Experience

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and infection control practices is essential.
Experience with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with strong patient care skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and provide compassionate care in a clinical setting.
