Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other staff members in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Conduct medical imaging as required, including X-rays.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures as needed, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.
Stay updated with dental terminology and advancements in dental care.

Skills

Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Knowledge of medical imaging processes related to dentistry.
Familiarity with dental office operations and protocols.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Background in dental assisting is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in both general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings.
