Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at our well established dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality dental care and support to patients while ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment- Utilize Open Dental software for patient treatment- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency- Provide chairside assistance for general dentistry procedures
Skills- Proficiency in assisting with dental procedures and treatments- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental care- Experience with Open Dental software preferred- Familiarity with infection control protocols in a dental setting- Ability to operate 3D scanners for dental imaging purposes- Strong organizational skills to manage patient records efficiently- Understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal workflow
