Job OverviewKeep your current job and supplement your income by working part-time with us! We are seeking a part time skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. Your schedule schedule should mirror the Dentist on Tuesday or Friday or both days. The The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess a strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, providing preventive care, and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. Your expertise in infection control, medical imaging, and documentation review will be essential in maintaining high standards of dental hygiene.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and review vital signs to ensure patient safety during procedures.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient documentation and record management.
Assist in four-handed dentistry by supporting the dentist during examinations and treatments.
Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with a focus on creating a positive experience for young patients.
Implement strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images as needed.
Review documentation to ensure compliance with dental regulations and standards.
Maintain knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental hygiene practices.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is advantageous.
Strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
