OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical skills, patient interaction, and administrative support, making it essential for maintaining high standards of dental care.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including but not limited to examinations, fillings, and extractions.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed while adhering to safety guidelines.
Manage patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist in managing pediatric patients.
Support various dental specialties including Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and general dentistry.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous for managing patient records efficiently.
Knowledge of infection control practices and procedures is essential.
Experience in pediatrics or as a dental receptionist is a plus.
Certification in X-Ray technology is highly desirable.
