Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $30 – $40 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary:

The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) will support our dentists in delivering high-quality patient care by preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, educating patients, and maintaining sterilization protocols. You’ll be an integral part of our team, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions)
Take and develop dental X-rays (digital preferred)
Record treatment information in patient charts and enter data into practice software
Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
Maintain inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Support front desk with scheduling and patient communication as needed

Requirements:
Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
Current CPR/BLS certification
X-ray and coronal polish certification required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) a plus
At least 2-3 years of experience as a registered dental assistant preferred, but not required
