Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit, adhering to HIPAA standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dental practices.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Skills

Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures, with experience in prosthodontics being a plus.
Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate medical records.
Knowledge of infection control standards within a dental setting.
Ability to assist effectively in various surgical procedures using four-handed dentistry and general anesthesia.

Familiarity

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
