About us
Seeking floater to cover as dental assistant and front desk. Must have experience at both positions.
Dr. William Lingerâs premier Charlotte dental office has a great full-time opportunity for an experienced candidate. Our world-class practice provides IV Sedation, Oral Surgery, Implants and Advanced Restorative and Cosmetic Treatment. Our work week alternates between Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
Requirements:
- Five years experience as a front Desk or Dental Assistant
- Strong knowledge of general dentistry
- Professional and compassionate demeanor
- Enthusiastic, compassionate personality

Summary
Job will involve covering the front desk and assisting when needed in either position. As a Dental Assistant DA2, you will be integral to our dental practice, providing essential chairside assistance during procedures and ensuring a smooth workflow in general dentistry. Your core skills in dental terminology and aseptic techniques will support our commitment to patient care and safety. You will also utilize premium skills such as EMR systems and X-Ray technology to enhance patient experiences. Reporting to the lead dentist, you will contribute to a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality dental services, including surgery and specialized treatments. Front desk responsibilities such as checking patients in and out, filing insurance, taking phone calls, making financial arrangements, etc.
Responsibilities
Checking patients in and out, taking phone calls, treatment presentation and financial arrangements, etc.
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Perform X-rays and assist with medical imaging as needed.
Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 â 40 per week
