Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments using appropriate tools and techniques.
Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, proper care techniques, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Perform digital x-rays as required.
Monitor vital signs as necessary to ensure patient safety during treatments.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and documentation purposes.
Stay updated with advancements in general dentistry practices and techniques.
Work closely with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Maryland.
Proficiency in Dentrix software is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
Ability to perform documentation review accurately and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and eagerness to contribute.
