WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Your responsibilities typically include:

Performing routine dental cleanings to remove; plaque, tartar, and calculus
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
Taking digital x-rays
Assessing patient’s oral health & identifying signs of disease
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene
Discussing treatment plans and preventative care with patients
Assisting dentists during procedures if needed
Documenting patient care and treatment plans accurately
Ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized
Maintaining patient records and medical histories
Adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Keeping up to date with dental regulations & industry best practices
