Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, including medical coding when necessary.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Utilize 3D scanners for dental impressions and assist with prosthodontics procedures.
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow.

Skills

Proficient in aseptic technique to prevent infection during procedures.
Knowledge of four-handed dentistry to assist effectively during treatments.
Familiarity with dental clinic operations and protocols.
Understanding of prosthodontics principles and practices.
Ability to perform medical coding accurately for patient documentation.
Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental care.
