Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our dental professionals in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Part-time will be considered. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Take dental x-rays as directed by the dentist - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions - Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar - Perform administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and maintaining inventory Experience: - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but not required - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus - Familiarity with medical records systems, such as Open Dental, is beneficial - Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy If you are a motivated individual with a passion for dental assisting, we encourage you to apply.
