Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Take and record vital signs to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning by providing necessary medical imaging.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dentists to provide high-quality care, particularly in pediatric dentistry.
Manage patient records accurately within the dental office system.
Provide support in dental assisting tasks as needed.

Experience

Previous experience working in a dental clinic or similar environment is preferred.
Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards is essential.
Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with children is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and their application within a dental practice is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
