Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Assist in infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including general and pediatric dentistry

Experience

Experience preferred but not required
Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate recommendations for care
