Registered Dental Hygienist - Children's Dental Care of Batesville - Batesville, IN

At Children’s Dental Care, our mission is to treat every child we care for as if they are one of our own. We are currently seeking a RDH who is enthusiastic, compassionate, a team player and, most importantly, loves dentistry and KIDS!
Key Responsibilities:

Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays
Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities for restorative treatment
Obtain and review dental and medical history
Digital Charting

Requirements:

Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene – With an Indiana License
X-Ray/Radiology Certification
Nitrous Oxide certification

Working Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, leaning, and bending.
