Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic and kind Dental Hygienist to join our private exceptional, and friendly dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education and preventive care.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Review patient documentation and medical records to ensure accurate treatment planning.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
Assist in educating patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dentists in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for various dental conditions.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, including documentation of findings and procedures performed.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best care possible.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry as needed, ensuring a positive experience for younger patients.
Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Proficient in documentation review and maintaining medical records.
Knowledgeable in aseptic techniques and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology.
Experience with Dentrix is preferred.
Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus.
Experience with Itero is a plus.
Understanding of front office is preferred.
